The Florida Keys
Each area of the Florida Keys is very unique.  The Upper Keys are
mainly four towns, Key Largo, Tavernier, Plantation Key, and
Islamorada.
Key Largo, often called the “diving capital of the world” by
the locals, has some of the Florida Keys most pristine dive locations as
well as several wreck dive sites.  The Spiegel Grove wreck is a big
attraction for scuba diving enthusiasts around the world.  Snorkeling in
the Florida Keys is also very popular because the reef system is very
shallow in a number of areas.

Islamorada, the "Village of Islands",  is just south of Key Largo and
Tavernier.  Islamorada includes the islands of Upper Matecumbe Key,
Lower Matecumbe Key, Plantation Key, and Windley Key in the Florida
Keys.  Islamorada is often called the "
sportfishing capital of the world"
because of it's location in the Florida Keys and the abundant varieties of
fish.  There is a seamount off the coast of Islamorda for world class
deep sea fishing and offshore fishing.  And on the bayside, you can
spend a more relaxing day flats fishing.
Marathon, the "Heart of the Florida Keys" includes the
islands of  Key Vaca, Grassy Key, Fat Deer Key, and Boot Key.
Marathon also has a "hump" (seamount) off the coast making
Marathon another very popular sport fishing area.  Sombrero
reef and other dive sites around Marathon are
popular for scuba divers and snorkelers.

Sombrero beach, directly off of Sombrero Blvd which is
between the Publix and Target at Mile Marker 50, is a gem!
Nice soft sand, beautiful water, playground and a
picturesque fishing pier.  Perfect for a day outing for a
family or a couple or singles.  Just relax and enjoy!
And at the end of the string of
islands lies the jewel of the
Florida Keys -
Key West.  Expect
the unexpected!  Anything goes
and usually does in Key  West.
After you visit Key West, you'll
understand why we say that it's
'like no place on earth'!

After you cross over the seven mile bridge, you're in the area that is called the Lower Keys.  The two main
attractions in the Lower Keys, on land that is, is the Bahia Honda State Park and the National Wildlife
Refuge on Big Pine Key. This area is home to the small key deer that roam freely on Big Pine Key.  Just
offshore lies the Looe Key coral reef site that is great for snorkelers as well as scuba divers.
